Tofu Marinated In Olive Oil

Ever wondered what's the best way to marinate tofu? Check out this easy to do recipe.

  • Firm 'Momen' tofu                                                          1/2 block (about 6 ounces)
  • Salt                                                                                     1/2 tbsp
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil                                                    As needed  
  • Herbs (Rosemary, etc.)                                                  As desired                           
  • Takanotsume red chili                                                   1/2 chilli 


  1. Add salt to the surface of tofu, then wrap in kitchen paper  to drain off excess water. After removing the water, cut into ¾-inch cubes.
  2. Put everything into a Ziploc bag and pour in the olive oil. Add hot chilli pepper and herbs as you like. Keep in the fridge for 3 days. *It will last up to 2 weeks if refrigerated.
