Kinseiken Shingenmochi

This mildly sweet Shingen-mochi is a sticky rice cake covered with kuromitsu brown sugar syrup, which has been produced by Kinseiken in Yamanashi since 1902. It is made from Rihoku rice, produced in Yamanashi, and natural water brought from the Minami Alps. Other carefully selected fine ingredients include sugar, kinako soybean powder, and starch syrup.

Watashoku Shingen Hoto

Hoto is a traditional dish of Yamagata that contains wide flat noodles and seasonal vegetables, such as pumpkins, potatoes and mushrooms, stewed in a miso based soup. While cooking, the flour ingredient in the noodles melts into the soup, making it thicker and smoother. This product contains a generous amount of noodles.

This is a traditional and much loved confection of Yamanashi, each of which is made using a fresh, whole grape coated with sugar. From bite one, the slightly sour grape juice spreads throughout the mouth.

Fujiya’s popular brand of cookies, Country Ma’am, has created a Yamanashi version, featuring richly flavored Shingen-mochi, which is a sticky rice cake covered with kuromitsu brown sugar syrup. The cookie dough contains kinako soybean powder from Hokkaido and kuromitsu from Okinawa, with additional white choco chips. The combination of these ingredients makes for an exquisite balance, but tastes even better when heated up a little in the oven. Great companion for tea and coffee. Sold exclusively in Yamanashi.  

Fujizakura Beer Rauch

This authentic German style beer is made from smoked malts, and from the very first sip, a smoky flavor spreads throughout the mouth, followed by a modestly bitter aftertaste. The water used during the brewing process is mineral-rich Fujizakura Meisui, a natural water brought from Mt. Fuji. This beer goes perfectly with full-flavored meals, such as roasted meats and smoked cheese. Best drunk at about 8.
